Here is where you will find the latest information of Harry Potter!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Released!

After nearly 3 years of waiting, the 5th HP sequel was released on June 21, 2003.  I finished it already.  But I am curious - do you hardcore HP fans think the book did justice to the 3-year wait?  Was it as exciting and breathtaking as you anticipated?  Did you like it overall?  How's this going to affect the 6th book?

I must confess that Order of the Phoenix was not as awesome as I hoped it would be.  Perhaps I would not react in such a way if I didn't have to wait for 3 years.  I though gloomily that by the time the final sequel is released, I won't even be a teenage anymore!

Rumours have it that the cast of HP will not be returning for the 2004 release of AzKaban because they are getting too old.  *sigh*  Just as the actors are starting to look really decent too!  LOL.  I hope they will cast better looking actors for Lupin and Sirius than the drawings in the 5th book!

***Pictures*** [Updated 2.27.02]

I want to create a website where it's both informative, refreshing, and pleasant, as well as an atmosphere that matches with the name of this website: "FANTASY REALM."

Thus, I want to add more pictures that could trigger the visitors a feeling of fantasy and desire, but due to the very limited amount of space I'm allowed to store pictures, I cannot keep both the "Harry Potter" pictures as well as the new "Fantasy" pictures. I will, in the future, create a website, solely devoted to the "Magical creatures," which are where my "Fantasy" pictures will be added. They include breathtaking arts of unicorns, phoenix, centaurs, dragons, pegasus, mermaids, and more to come. All of them are considered "unreal" and "fantastical," and some of them "magical."

Another website I want to create is a fansite for "The Lord of the Rings," (as I have mentioned on the Home Page) if you have any ideas of what kind of pages I should include on that site will be greatly appreciated! I have already thought of the following pages:

1. The Fellowship of the Ring
2. The Two Towers
3. The Return of the King
4. The Movie Trilogy
5. Movie, Magazines, & Poster Gallery
6. Polls

I'm out of ideas! Unlike "Harry Potter," in which rumours, theories, and speculation can still be made because not all 7 books are out; "The Lord of the Rings" triology has been out for a very long time, so there are no suspense, except to what the next two sequel movies will look like. E-mail me anytime you like to make a suggestion or comment! =)

***J. K. Rowling Married!*** [Updated 1.18.02]

If you have not already heard this, J. K. Rowling has been married for the second time, to Neil Murray, on December 26, 2001. Let's give her family our best wishes and happiness!

***Book 5's New Release Date?***

J. K. Rowling was appeared on A & E's Biography channel. Rowling told "Biography" that she had the whole story planned out in her head before even writing the first chapter. She had to edit the first chapter of the first book many times because her ealier draft revealed too many secrets of the later books. In fact, she told all this to a representative of her publisher. He then agreed to publish her books.

J. K. Rowling kept a character list in which she planned ahead all the names of characters on a piece of unlined paper(she showed it on screen); with their houses and which book they will appear in. I saw the name "Megan" and last name "Jones." It was hard to tell which houses they are in, because instead of using "G" for Gryffindor or "H" for Hufflepuff, Rowling drew small pictures. The camera only showed the list briefly, I couldn't remember the exact images.

Rowling also presented a big and thick envelope, in which she said it contains the last chapter of the last sequel. It would be an "epilogue," in which she concludes everything and pieces all the puzzles together. Of course she couldn't show it to the camera what was inside, and she doesn't keep in her house (in case you are wondering, :-D ). I can't wait!

In the end of the biography, the narrator said that the next book is expected to be out in the SPRING of 2002! "Spring" can be defined as anytime between February to June, depending on where you live. But I always thought it would be during the summer of 2002, like July. Keep crossing your fingers! =)

If you taped this Biography, please e-mail me! Thanks!

I received tons of e-mails from you fellow HP fans asking for more Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood) pictures and infos. Well, thanks to Jenny (SuperChica5389), here is an interview with Sean from "16" magazine: [Updated 12/23/01]

Actor: Sean Biggerstaff
Character: Oliver Wood

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Harry's sports mentor, Quidditch Captain Oliver Wood, arrives in the form of a charming actor Sean Biggerstaff. Although Oliver is an over-the-top, obsessed sports-nut, Biggerstaff still thinks he's a good guy. (Hey, he is a Harry ally, right?).
16: How did you get into acting?
I started out in a local drama group when I was seven. I auditioned for Macbeth when I was ten and worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
16: Tell us about your character.
He's very sporty, slightly eccentric and very passionate about Quidditch. Wanting to win the Quidditch House Cup
is like the Holy Grail for him.
16: Are you anything like him?
I can relate to the desire to win, but I'm not as competitive. Oliver's got more of a "winning is everything" attitude. And he's a bit more of an oddball than I am.
16: Did you get along with the other kids on the set?
They were great. There was a surprisingly low brat-factor, Daniel [Radcliffe, who plays Harry] is fantastic and very
smart. He's got his head well screwed on.
16: What magical power would you like to have?
I always wanted to be able to fly. I used to watch Superman movies and I thought that would be the coolest thing.
16: Is there anything you want our readers to know about you?
I'm devilishly good-looking and single!
THE LATEST (updated on 11/19/01):
The Harry Potter movie has been finally released on Friday, November 16th! The much anticipated movie had broken a world record ticket selling!...a 93 million at its first 2 days. I must say, I am one of them!
If you haven't seen the film already. You must! It is very awesome and incredible. Check out the "HP Galleries" for added movie pictures and portraits. I will add a much better message board later with password and ID log in. We can discuss our feelings towards the film...and its actors! :-D
Updates:
***The Harry Potter third and final trailer has been released! In only days the first movie will be out as well. I can't wait to see the actors on the big screen for 2 hours and 20 minutes! It'll be awesome.
***Are you anticipating the Harry Potter movie coming up in November 16, 2001? If you are, then you must also wonder how Fred and George Weasley will look like. If you don't already know, they are played by real life actor twins James and Oliver Phelps. They have a website...www.oliver-phelps.com, but it is still under construction. If you go there now, there is some sort of code on the page, and underneath, it says:
"Get it? Come back then"
Good news! Thanks to Lunastortah, she had cracked the code! The inscription really says:
"Be here on the 21st to see what all the hype is about".
~~~~~~~

Well, I checked out the site a week ago and it's cool. Very graphic and flashy. They have a "diary" that the twins keep their lives. Check it out soon!

I just received a magazine called Seventeen in my mailbox today and guess what I found! On page 113 of the magazine, there is an advertisement for a book called "Conversations with J.K. Rowling." It says it is "the ONLY authorized biography of J.K. Rowling." It's published by Scholastic Inc and you can check out more information on www.scholastic.com/harrypotter.

Here is a piece of very interesting info I found on hpgalleries.com:

"If you go to the UK Patent Office's trademark search and type in "Harry Potter" you will come up with 3 very interesting marks - Harry Potter and the Alchemist's Cell, Harry Potter and the Pyramids of Furmat, and Harry Potter and the Chariots of Light. Could these possibly be used for future book titles? They were all registered on April 26, 2001, before the Book Five title was announced...I guess we'll have to wait to hear from J.K. Rowling before we can make any assumptions, but we might have just uncovered a very interesting secret!"

BUT! As we all know, Ms. Rowling herself announced that the 5th book title is Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix. Could she possibly be misleading us?...another title change like the 4th book?...or simply a mistake? But I think Harry Potter and the Chariot of Light sounds very interesting. Hmmm...I could just imagine what it could be about. What do you think?

~~~~~~~
If you are a true Harry Potter fan, you are dying to know when the next book will be released. I've searched all over the internet but no one seems to know the exact date. But here are the dates that came up constantly:
*The 5th Harry Potter had already been released in countries where the movie is not releasing(or at least not anytime soon)!!!
*The book will be released in November 2001, to accompany the craziness of the movie release.
*The book will be released in Spring of 2002. J.K. Rowling did NOT want to mix the craziness of the movie release with the book release.
*The book will be released in the summer of 2002. The book is said to be finished, and is in the process of editing. Also, the illustrator of the Harry Potter books has to read the final result before giving her sketches to accompany the book.
~~~~~~~

In the GoF, the Priori Incantenem thing was that the spells performed shown backwards. Well, in our books, James was shown before Lily, that brought some controversy. And strangely, Ms. Rowling admitted her mistake and in the later printed versions, it was printed Lily came before James. Hmmm...I think that's just not the same effect. Ms. Rowling should have just covered it up and say something about it. Oh, well. =o)

More coming soon and updated constantly!
