Again, there are tons of questions and theories that are out there. So, here are some of the most popular topics and their
theories. ~~~~~~~ QUESTION I: Harry constantly have "weird" dreams...at
least once a school year. And often, they turn out to be true. So, are his dreams have some kind of precognition power?
Here are some dreams and their theories. (Thanks to 7pompeus) *First Year: "Perhaps Harry
had eaten a bit too much, because he had a very strange dream. He was wearing Professor Quirrell's turban, which kept talking
to him, telling him he must transfer to Slytherin at once, because it was his destiny. Harry told the turban he didn't want
to be in Slytherin; it got heavier and heavier; he tried to pull it off but it tightened painfully - and there was Malfoy,
laughing at him as he struggled with it - then Malfoy turned into the hook-nosed teacher, Snape, whose laugh became high and
cold - there was a burst of green light and Harry woke, sweating and shaking." -Well, this may be one of
the more obvious ones. We all know that Voldemort was in Quirrel's turbin. So, maybe, Harry's dream was telling him that
Voldemort is there with Quirrel. Or Voldemort was trying to lure Harry into being in Slytherin. Because remember how the
"Sorting Hat" almost put him in there? The part about Malfoy and Snape laughing...they could either be an addition
to the premonition, or a cover up to the actual premonition. ****** *Second Year: "He
dreamed that he was on show in a zoo, with a card reading UNDERAGE WIZARD attached to his cage. People goggled through the
bars at him as he lay, starving and weak, on a bed of straw. He saw Dobby's face in the crowd and shouted out, asking for
help, but Dobby called, "Harry Potter is safe there, sir!" and vanished. Then the Dursleys appeared and Dudley rattled
the bars of the cage, laughing at him." -Dobby forced Harry into a Zoo cage to keep him safe. That humiliates
Harry and therefore causes him pain, for he is weak in that cage. He also feels lonely and helpless. This was also premonitory
because, in fact, Dobby was going to put Harry in humiliating/hurting situations throughout the year, with the excuse of "keeping
Harry Potter safe, sir!" Such as: a)Dobby prevented Harry and Ron going on the Hogwarts Express. They
ended up in big trouble. b)Dobby bewitched the Bludgers, and they nearly killed Harry during a Quidditch game.
****** Third Year: "He had a very strange dream. He was walking through a forest,
his Firebolt over his shoulder, following something silvery-white. It was winding its way through the trees ahead, and he
could only catch glimpses of it between the leaves. Anxious to catch up with it, he sped up, but as he moved faster, so did
his quarry. Harry broke into a run, and ahead he heard hooves gathering speed. Now he was running flat out, and ahead he could
hear galloping. Then he turned a corner into a clearing and - " -This is yet the most interesting and insightful
dream. Harry did not know his father was an Animagus, never mind his animal was a stag. But, he heard "galooping"...which
is the sound made by a stag (described later during the Patronus) And especially that it just happened that Harry's Patronus
is the animal of his father...even Dumbledore was surprised to see that (remember the part in the Quidditch game when Malfoy,
Crabbe, and Goyle dressed as dememtors to scare Harry off his broom...but Harry performed the Patronus?) THE SHADOW OF SILVERY-WHITE,
WAS IN TRUTH...THE SPIRIT OF JAMES POTTER! -But is it really the shadow of James Potter? Or is it a precognition
of Harry's future Patronus? If it is in fact Jame's shadow, then where was James leading Harry to? Assuming he was leading
Harry to somewhere or something? Galloping through a forest? Leading Harry to a clearing? -And what could that
clearing be?...GODRIC'S HOLLOW -Harry felt that he was chasing the silvering white thing. So that means, James
was going real fast. Was he in a rush? Was there some kind of urgency to get to the clearing? Why was it so urgent? What
or who did James want to show Harry? Whatever it is, I have no doubt that it would be very important. And yet, strangely,
James' best friend was the one who prevented Harry from looking inside the clearing? Sirius was looking for Wormtail/Scabbers
and he woke Ron up. Ron shouted and Harry woke up too. Was perhaps that something James wanted to show Harry about Sirius?
Could it be a secret no one else knows? Or was it that James was trying to tell Harry that Sirius was innocent? Or...it
was just a coincidence that Sirius was the one who interrupted the dream? But as we all know...rarely does J.K. Rowling ever
write coincidences in the books. It could be foreshadowing of the future. ****** Fourth Year:
How could we forget this one? Just as Voldemort showed himself in front of Frank, Frank died and Voldemort was
laughing, Harry woke up with his scar hurting. Harry even remember what was in the dream...which is exactly what really happened.
Okay, this is the most obvious of all. So, I won't even write any theories for it. =o)

Question II: Why did Dumbledore had a "flint" in his eyes when Harry told him Voldemort had come
back (in GoF)? *Theory 1: Dumbledore knows something that no one else does or had not discover. Is it that
when Voldemort used Harry's blood as part of his spell back to power, he is now in Harry's debt(whether intentionally or unintentionally).
Voldemort could have just used any wizard's blood, but he chose Harry because it would give him the most power. So, in a
way, Harry saved Voldemort's life. And as Dumbledore said in Book III: when one wizard is under another wizard's debt, he
will repay him in return. So, perhaps Dumbledore understood this and thougtht Voldemort never truly came back to power and
will be in Harry's debt forever. *Theory 2: Dumbledore is on the bad side; or he has some unrevealed intentions
with Voldemort. *Theory 3: It never happened, and Harry just made a mistake. ~~~~~~~
Question III: Why did Snape become disloyal to Voldemort and turn for the good?
*Theory 1: Did his conscience come into play? Could he not live with is guilt? Could he not sleep in the
night knowing he tore families apart and murdering innocent lives? *Theory 2: Was he discovered by the
Ministry of Magic and forced doing against his will? Highly doubtable, Snape is not the kind of man to turn against in the
last minute. No, he is a great thinker. A true mind expert knowing exactly what he was doing. So, did he have a great mental
breakdown? Believe it or not, Snape is not evil by choice. He is the epitimy of a perfectly acceptable Slytherin Housemember.
Ambitious, sly, cunning, not to mention clever...traits has so obviously possesses as well as great mind prowess. Unfortunatly
by entering Slytherin House he was exposed at an early age to people who by either choice or a greed of power wished to join
Voldemort. He was expected to be bad. Therefore he did...but perhaps he realized that is not his true side...and he changed
therefore.(Thanks to Snapoo) *Theory 3: The last theory comes that Dumbledore had some kind of influence
on Snape. Remember how Dumbledore helped Harry through all the obstacles...even though not directly (like in the case of
CoS...when Fawkes and the Sorting Hat helped Harry against Tom Riddle; or in the 3rd book, when Dumbledore hinted what needed
to be done when Harry and Hermione went back in time?...). We all know Dumbledore is a wizard of power, wisdom, and courage.
He possesses all the knowledge and power of Voldemort...if not even more...except he has morality, dignity, and nobilism
NOT to use it negatively. So, perhaps Dumbledore somehow enlightened Snape. Or back to question one, something happened
to someone Snape once loved that changed him. We all know LOVE is a powerful thing...such in the case of Lily saved Harry's
life. All these are possible events that may had happened. But we won't be sure unless J.K. Rowling confirms it. =)
~~~~~~~
Question IV: Snape's love interest. Did or does he have a love interest in anyone? *Theory
1: Indeed, so far, there might be a possible candidate. Her name is Miranda Goshawk. You may not remember her, but she
was mentioned from time to time as the authors of multiple books needed for class. Could Snape respect her for her noticeable
credits? Or something more than that??? *Theory 2: Did Snape already had a love interest/wife? Is
so, what happened? Did she merely desert him when she joined the ranks of Voldemort? Or maybe she was in the league of Voldemort
herself? Was she killed? Or perhaps an unfortunate accident? We all know that Snape does not represent a quality of falling
"head over heels" over a woman. But perhaps he had loved one dearly before. What truly happened? There's no doubt
that Ms. Rowling will go into details later. ~~~~~~~ Question V:
What did Dumbledore REALLY see in "The Mirror of Erised?" (In the first book, Harry asked Dumbledore
what he saw in the mirror. Dumbledore's reply was "a pair of thick woolen socks.") *Theory 1:
Dumbledore really saw a pair of thick woolen socks. Because he has everything, that's what he really wanted at the moment.
*Theory 2: Dumbledore did see a pair of thick woolen socks...but they were not the ONLY things he saw.
Remember him saying that lying is a terrible thing to do? So, technically, he did not lie. Socks represent freedom, to
house-elves such as Dobby and Winky. So, instead of seeing freedom, he saw an object that represented freedom. He may also
saw an unicorn. Which represented goodness and purity. *Theory 3: Dumbledore did NOT see a pair of thick
woolen socks as he said. But he also didn't technically lie because what he saw is what a pair of socks represented. He
saw freedom(perhaps a world with Voldemort finally gone?). That may be why instead of saying "freedom" when Harry
asked, he said "socks" to secretly hinting Harry. And again, he may have seen more than just freedom. He may also
see health and immortality...then he would say a phoenix, because that's what a phoenix represent. ~~~~~~~
Question VI: Which of the 3 "Unforgiveable Curses" is the worst? This is one of the most interesting
question and requires a lot of thinking and debating. I also used this question as one of the "Polls/Surveys."
According to your votes, most of you had chosen "Aveda Kedvra" as the worst curse. Well, the following are MY
perspective. And if you think you have a good "essay," please send it to me. Check the details on "HP Hall
of Fame" page. ***Aveda Kedvra: This is the killing curse. So obviously, anyone who is being put under
this curse will have his/her life terminated. I am not sure, however, if there is any pain involved. But in GoF, Cedric
Diggory died very quickly after Peter Pettigrew set that curse on him. So, I'm guessing that it is quick and painless.
Life is the best gift God has given all of us. To purposely give it up would be one of the greatest sins. To lose "Life"
means to never experience the things you would; to take the opportunies that're offered for you in this world; to love and
be loved in return; to do all those wonderful things that you could if you are alive. Death is the ultimate end to all those
things. So, without a doubt, "Avede Kedvra" ends all that. ***Crutacious: This is the torturing curse.
Just as it sounds, this curse is meant to make you suffer, for you to be in total pain, and barely alive. You are in a struggle
of life and death, but at this immense pain, you would rather die than stand this curse any longer. Crutacious Curse gives
you the worst, most intense physical pain you could imagine. So much that it embodies your soul and lose all your hopes.
***Imperius: This is the controlling curse. Like Crutacious, this curse could be fought. However, for the most
who are not able to fight this curse, are most unfortunate; for then they will experience the worst outcome. The Imperius
Curse has no tolerance, and the person who is under this curse has lost all his/her freedom. He or she must act as the speller
tells them to. How could this person withstand the conscience of robbing the house of a good family and kidnapping
their only child? How is he able to stand his guilt for murdering an innocent boy? Or cruelly drowning a bunch of homeless
children? True, he never intended to do any of the crimes. But the truth remains that he DID do them, is enough to burden
a person's life forever. How is he able to sleep at nights? It'll feel death is better. If this person has any morality
or heart at all, he will never be the same, that is assuming the speller had let him live. Because, what is even worse, is
to have murdered innocent lives and then taking your own. What would be your last thought? The guilt, shame, resentment,
etc?... ~~~~~~~
